We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Is it possible to pre populate an appointment form with the details of a known wordpress user?
Hello Robin,
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
If we understood you correctly then if you have that customer already in Amelia when you create a new appointment and when you select it other data will be filled in also if you do not already have it in the database then it is not possible you have to add it and fill in the fields next time possible.
As for booking on the front end If someone is already a WordPress user, and they book an appointment for the first time in Amelia while logged in to WP, the customer created in Amelia will be connected to that WP user and the WP user will get the Amelia Customer role too (there are plugins for managing multiple roles in WP, such as User role editor). This way they will have the same login info for the Amelia customer panel and WordPress.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]

Thanks Marko,
I am not sure you have answered my question. My question is if a visitor to my site is already a wordpress user on my site (eg a subscriber)and is logged in, can the Amelia appt form be pre filled in with name and email address. They would most likely not be existing users of Amelia.
My use case is I have an optin form on my site, then on the optin thank you page is the amelia plugin to book an appt. As they have already completed the optin form (which creates a subscriber account) I don't want then to have complete their name and email a second time when completing the amelia booking form.
Hello Robin,
We apologize for the misunderstanding. We logged today in as a Wp user with the subscriber role and all the data has already been entered and cannot be changed.
Hopefully, we understood each other now and we hope this helps. All the data is filled in the form so that means that it is possible to do what you have asked us.
If we missed something please let us know.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
