Hi,
My customer takes payments for their services on-site only but would like a way to record whether the payment is by card or cash on the day. How can I add a custom field to the appointment booking to allow them to capture this information.
I have read the custom fields section in the documentation but it looks like it shows on the front end too and may confuse the customer as they won't actually be making the payment at the time.
Hello Samantha,
Thank you for purchasing Amelia, and for reaching out to us.
Yes you can create a custom field that will show on the front and it doesn't need to be confusing you can make that field to be mandatory and just ask them "which payment method do you prefer cash or card" for example, or you can enter it buy by hand in the backend of Amelia in customer note.
You can find those notes in Amelia/customer/edit customer. The customer won't be able to see those notes but your employee will get that information in case they need it.
Those are the only options where you can enter those kinds of information at the moment.
If you have any more questions please feel free to open another ticket.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
