i translated Amelia by using POEdit to german. Most of the translation is correct but at one very prominent form, the step-by-step Booking form a issue appeared. In the Screenshot you can see "Bitte auswählen Service". In english this is correct as "Please select service" but in german the sequence of the words is wrong. For German translation it should be correct as "Bitte Service auswählen". For that I need to change the order of the words or shall be able to change it complete. But in the translation file i do not find a possibility.
At first the proposed solution was working, but now it is somehow bugged that it is showing something which is not in the customization translated. Label Settings are off as mentioned.
For example, I changed the nameing of the booked slots, but it showing an older translation of mine in the frontend. Instead "Plätze gebucht" it is showing "freie Plätze".
I am using Loco Translated, but I there is this translation not showing.
I also have the issue with notifications. I have created a new one customized, saved everything but send out is an older version of the notification.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

This, again, is not what you've written in the back-end, so it could be related to caching. Can you please install a caching plugin, and make sure to purge all cache with it (including the cache on the page itself)? If that doesn't work, please let me know and I'll engage one of our developers to check it out.
I will try, but isnt it the other way around that usually those PlugIns cause such things?
I have a different thought. In the amelia settings I first had the language german. Some time ago I deleted it because I thought it is not neccessary to offer a language since there is only one.
I expected that the the default strings will be used. When I again add german and select it and change there something, I think the frontend changes are visible. But it is not consistent everywhere. Why is default (no language availabe, language box is grey and emtpy) not overruling everything with its strings and translations?
Same thing for the notifications. They only get changed if I select a language.
Sorry, I completely missed the language bar at the top of Amelia/Customize section. After I changed the language to German, I saw the string "gebuchte Plätze" and changed it to "Plätze gebucht", and this is how it's currently shown on the front-end:
The issue with the additional language is that it overrides the default language of the website even though it's the same. So, if you have German as your website's language, and you add German as an additional language, you will need to make all modifications in the additional language (so the "German" from the language menu in Notifications, Customize section, etc). It is not necessary to select German as an additional language, so if you remove the langauge from Amelia's General settings, it should work.
I followed your advice and deleted again the additional german language. I tried it now the other way around and changed it from "Plätze gebucht" to "gebuchte Plätze". But it is now still showing the old version. I also cleared the cache with the caching plugin.
What did I miss?
Just in case you want to check again, we went live this night and the URL changed slightly. You will still have access. To get to the site simply delete the subdomain.
This is a bug then. When you delete the additional language in Amelia's General settings, the strings you changed for that additional language remain on the front-end for some reason.
Our developers will fix this for our next update, and until then the best option would be to add German again, and customize that additional language.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
By the way, I added German to Amelia's General Settings again, so you only need to modify the strings when you select it as the other language on your site, under Customize.

Hello Denis
Sorry for the late response.
First, in Amelia Settings/Labels, turn off Labels settings.
Since the plugin is using many strings and combines them together, a complex language like German can't inherit that.
This is why you can edit the strings in Amelia/Customize section so "Please select Service" can now say "May the force be with you" if you want
Just make sure you're editing the correct booking form (step-by-step, or catalog).
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
