Thanks for reaching out, I’m sure there’s a link that Clients use to set up their login and password in order to access the customer panel. I believe that this is different to the customer panel link. Is this right?
That is exactly the link that will lead the customers to their customer panel access where they can set and change their password used to log in to the customer panel.
Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.
Ok thank you for letting me know. one of my new clients can’t set up their customer panel so I know there is an issue.
I have visited my website to test it by booking a new package with a new email address. I receive an email once the package is purchased with the customer panel link which takes me to a login page however it hasn’t taken me to the page to set up a password. I have tested this previously to see what my clients see and I have been to a page to set up a password.
I have therefore clicked “forgotten password” and I received an email again to the customer panel with no opportunity to reset my password so I am stuck in a loop.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Unfortunately, that is the way Amelia functions at the moment, as the customers will need to click on the "Forgot the password" button to get the link to their email for password creation.
In regards to the customization of the booking form, if you configured everything, but the booking form doesn't work properly, it could be a cache issue. Please deactivate Amelia, clear cache, activate Amelia, clear cache again. You can clear cache with the plugin "W3 Total Cache" or any other, also clear your browser cache and cookies.
Hope this works for you.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
Hi,
Please can you send me the link for my clients to use to create a login after they have booked a package?
I think I may have overwritten this on the notification email. If you could send it to me asap that would be helpful.
best wishes,
Jo
