We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, I have a restaurant business with capacity for 36 people, but I would like that when a user makes a booking for one hour he can only be accompanied by a maximum of 8 people.
Right now, when a user selects the number of companions, all the available capacity in the restaurant appears. I want that when they make a booking for 10 or more people they make it with a phone call.
How can I do so that in each booking they can only reserve for 9 people, but that the schedule continues to be available until the capacity is completed with other reservations?
Sorry for my English, I'm using Google Translate to translate from Spanish.
Hello Antonio,
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
The only way you can achieve this is to create a separate service for each table and to make it a group appointment that can receive only 9 people per booking. And for every table you will need to create an employee.
We have some suggestions for restaurant booking that can be helpful to you. We don't have an option for displaying the table plan, but you can create tables in the place where our employees are, and give customers the option to pick one of the tables.
You can also set minimum and maximum capacity for each table and disable the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity".
We made this option for this kind of use case since it works in the way that once some customer books above minimum capacity it automatically closes this time slot for the particular table so other customers (that don't know each other) can not fill in the table until the maximum capacity is reached.
Please just be aware that at the moment each employee (table) would need a different email set in the profile but there is a workaround if you plan to use Gmail or Outlook mail.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
