Hi
I have a large CSV file of data for customer orders.
I want to be able to create a table using this data, but only use certain rows if a column value matches something in particular.
i.e. I have a column called "Order Status" and I only want to show rows where this is "Confirmed".
I have seen how I can pre-filter the data using a URL but this can be overidden by the user. The table would need to be searchable by the user once displayed but still only showing the "Confirmed" ones.
Hi, Matthew
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Could you take a look at this page - https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/table-features/advanced-filtering/ , and scroll to Predefined default filter values. This might be helpful, with an example of how you can use a predefined value from a column, and you can try to apply this to your case, such as "Confirmed" predefined value from the "Order Status" column.
Hopefully, I understood what you need to achieve. If not, apologies.
- If you need more details or further guidance, please contact us further.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
