For frontend editing, is a user able to create his/her own table (or update data AND headers)?
I watched the videos and I can see how someone can update data on the frontend but I couldn't tell if someone can create a table or change table headers to suit his/her needs.
I’m trying to create portfolio templates for high school kids.
My big issue is for athletes who play multiple positions and may or may not need multiple tables for each position to show their stats. (For example, a kid who plays baseball and is a pitcher and shortstop).
Ideally, this could be done either on the frontend, or somehow using custom post types/fields on the backend.
Just wondering b/f I purchase what the capabilities are of your plugin.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
- Sorry to disappoint you, but this is not possible to achieve with any of our built-in functionalities of the plugin.
On the front-end, the users can edit the data, add new entries, but they can not add/remove/edit column headers or create new tables; this can only be done through the back-end Admin area.
Thanks for your response. I see you integrate w/Forminator, I might be able to achieve a workaround using the form, Tables & ACF.
BUT, can I use WPDatatables w/a multisite? If so, which license would I need? I know w/ACF I only need a single site license, so I'm hoping it's the same w/wpdatatables.
Hi, hope you are doing well!
