Hi. We bought Amelia as a booking tool and included it on our website. Now the system is live and we are testing it. In the settings for notifications, I have set that when customers have booked something, they will receive a notification. This works perfectly. But I have also set that the admin always gets a notification when a customer has booked. That doesn't really work. The notifications always go to a different email address that I have always tested with. In the settings, however, I have set a different email address with SMTP etc.
WHERE can I set the notifications to go to a different address? I really tried everything. I can't find it and I'm getting desperate.
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
You can set that the employee and customers get notifications and if you want to be notified for each notification you can set it up in Amelia/settings/notification and there you will see the field to ad additional addresses that you want to receive notifications.
hello marko. sometimes the notifications work. the customers receive their information. that's a good thing. i want the dog trainer (it's her site, i'm just building this for the trainer) to also get confirmation that a customer has booked.
amelia sends this information. However, to my private e-mail address and not to the e-mail address that I have stored in amelia. I just do not understand. I don't even know where amelia got my email address from. I didn't actually enter it anywhere. Here's a screenshot of how it's set.
and once again: The confirmation does not go out to [email protected] but to my private one. I don't want that.
Sorry for the late response. We are not working during the weekends and our team is cut in half due to Covid-19 infections, so our response times are longer than usual. Thank you for your patience!
You get the notification as an employee because you were probably login in with your personal email when you have set up Amelia and when you have tested it. Somewhere you have employee that has your email address.
Check the mails for employees and you have to find the employee in Amelia and more importantly in the database when you find the employee that has your email address just delete him from the database and that is it.
