In my wpdatatable, I have a link to an external page, defined with "URL link" category, and associated to a button "set the link to appear as a button".
As I wish this button to appear as more "critical", I have done some tests with the "button class" option. I have tested the value "warning", button appears as red, but not as I wanted. Now I have removed it and I have a bug : button is normal on preview on plugin page definition, but when I use the table in a WP page, it is always red. I tried with different browsers, I cleared cache, but I still have the issue.
Could you send me a link to the page, and I can take a look and inspect the classes and styles for you?
- Even better, if you want to save time, you could provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
If you do that, please point me to the right page with the table, and the table ID, please.
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, my website is an internal website and I am not able to give you an external access (this is blocked by IT).
I can only give you some logs, screenshots or things like that...
For the issue, do you have a list of possible words that can be used for "button class"? Perhaps there is a "normal" that can set the button back to normal state?
If i understand correctly, on the back-end of the plugin, the button has different color than the front end page?
Our plugin is based on a "what you see is what you get" concept, and the front-end of the page must look the same as back-end preview.
If that's the case, this is probably caused by a WP theme you might be using... perhaps there is some custom CSS in the styles file of the theme, that is overriding the button colour. We could try to create some custom styles to try and override it, or find the style code that is causing this, and you can edit the themes CSS; but without access to the page, not sure how we can isolate it....
- What if you try to change your WP theme, to one of the default ones, and tell me is the button still like that, different colour from the back-end and front on the page-just to make sure, and we will then see about the next step?
- Also, double check on the column setting, do you still have some custom Button class assigned to it?
- If you check all of this, and the button is still different ( normal at the back-end, but red on the front),
you could clone your website so our developers can find the conflict and resolve it.
If you're willing to do that - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
The Duplicator plugin can export only up to 500MB of data, so if your site is bigger than that, please use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link. And if you do that, also mark the response as private.

Do you know a way to "reset" it?
What are the allowed values for button class?
Best regards
