Is there a way to add an Event without providing a signup option, or more specifically making the Event signup a scheduled appointment via a service?
My client wants people to signup for a spot during an event using a Service since it allows options for extras, but they don't want people signing up for the Event that shows up in the calendar by accident thinking that they booked a spot. We only want to track the appointments. The Event itself is completely open.
The only option for event booking without allowing customers to book an event from the front-end would be to book an event from the back-end, other than that, there is no option to add the event as an extra of service.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, and see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.
After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions.

Unfortunately, that is currently not possible with Amelia's built-in features.

This is your answer to every issue I've had with the app. These are obvious problems and limitations with the Amelia app that others simply don't have. Your response is basically to tell me I need to report your apps problems a 2nd redundant time (this being the first report) and then wait and hope that maybe, eventually, one day (probably never), you will get around to fixing these glaring problems and limitations? Why aren't you reporting the issues?
I could provide you with the CSS that would make one of the events unbookable, but that would change based on how many events are displayed on the front-end and thus would block booking for different events depending on which events are displayed.
As for the feature suggestion go, we report feature suggestions to our developers for features that we have noted have been requested several times and the features are implemented based on the number of requests from customers. We are continuously working on improving our plugin and we need the feedback of the customers, thank you for your feedback on how the new feature requests are handled.
Please reach out to us if you have any other questions.
You should be able to set "maximum allowed spots" field to 0, and still have it show up on the calendar. That would be an easy solution to this problem. But your system currently doesn't allow me to set "maximum allowed spots" to 0

Hello Alec,
Thank you for clearing that up.
Do you want only a specific event not to be bookable or every event for that matter?
Looking forward to your reply.

I just want this one specific event to not be bookable. (and potentially other specific events in the future as well)

Apologies for the redundant answer I gave you.
