I'm setting up my own roles for my website through custom code. Other websites like WooCommerce or LearnDash have their capabilities listed online. But i couldn't easily find Amelia's capabilities, can you please direct me to the location where i can find them?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thank you for providing us with admin access and thank you for your patience.
In the "User role editor" plugin, there is an option to add an additional role to the wp user, and I simply added the "Amelia employee" role to the "test test" customer, and when i switched to that user, i have the capabilities to access the Amelia dashboard.
Hope this works for you.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
I wan't to individually add/remove permission nodes for the Editor role. So assigning the role isn't the solution. Other plugins, like WooCommerce, work with the same type of permissions. For their plugin it works fine to assign permission nodes to a different role. How come Amelia has this kind of restriction?
And i'd like to add that this is a clean website. So it should work like intended, as with every other plugin.
Unfortunately, unless you assign an Amelia role, you will not be able to add capabilities to the user that wants to access the Amelia configuration, since Amelia is designed to check if the Amelia role is assigned to the user in order for them to be able to access the Amelia configuration on the back-end.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
