I watched your video on how to "Connect WordPress User with Amelia Employee". I installed the recommended "User Role Editor" plugin. However, I am a single person company and have no other employees at the moment. So I am both the Wordpress Administrator of the website and also the Employee for purposes of scheduling appointments in WP Amelia.
It appears that as Administrator, I cannot assign myself the role of Employee that would allow me to use all of the functions of an Employee in Amelia. It seems that I would need to add myself as a second User so that I would be in system twice in order to use the features correctly. Is this right? If so, is there a work-around or a way for you to fix this issue in an update?
I do NOT want to have to create multiple user accounts in Wordpress in order to use the software. This would require having to log in and out multiple times to juggle more than one WP User account. Please advise me on how to proceed as I am confused on how to set this up for a single person company where the WP Admin is also the person scheduling the appointments with customers. I assume that I am not the only Amelia user who is struggling with this issue.
Thank you for your prompt assistance with this matter.
You can't mix the admin account with any other role, you have to create an additional user with Amelia's employee role. There is a workaround where you can make same employees with different emails (you can use the same email by adding numbers for example if your client email address is [email protected] you can make more employees with the same email adding numbers like [email protected],[email protected]...). This is possible for Gmail and Outlook accounts.
I hope it helps.
