WP reports there's an Amelia update. The problems include:
1) You block automatic updates.
2) You do not give any instructions in the WP details form on how to do the update or describe the update.
3) I go to the website. I do not see any information about the update.
4) Entering manual update in the search on the docs does not tell me how to do a manual update
5) Going to the support form requests that I register. It does not give me an option or suggest that I login.
6) I login. Now the support form requests the purchase code. I've logged in. You know whether or not I've purchased it. Why force everyone to dig through their e-mails for an code when you have a login system that checks who I am? If you answer this question, it will probably be something about security. There's a lot simpler ways to be secure.
So here I am with notification of an update and you've blocked all ways I would update the system.
Can you consider making it possible for me to understand how to do an update? Please provide information about how to do it or do it automatically.
If you activated the purchase code in Amelia Settings/Activation, the update should be offered in the Plugins section. On some WordPress installations, you need to deactivate the plugin first in order to see the update offered, so please try that.
If that doesn't work, try going through Dashboard/Updates. See if you can update the plugin through there, and if that doesn't work either, you can follow the manual update procedures in the article linked below:
If the purchase code keeps deactivating this usually happens if the code is (for some reason) saved with a space in the database. So, even though it looks normal, and is saved successfully in the plugin, it's saved with a space in front or after the code in the database. If so, I can explain how to fix it.
I'm sorry that you are experiencing some problems with the ticksy platform, but this platform and the logic of operations were not developed by us, anyway thank you for your suggestion. We carefully follow customers' requirements and try to implement most of them if they appear in requests from time to time, so I have forwarded this to my management and we will look into some possible solutions on our side how to improve it in the future.
If you need some further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
