I have updated to the latest version of Amelia as of this post. I suddenly started receiving the following error when attempting to process a card payment via Stripe on Amelia:
Sorry, there was an error processing your payment. Please try again later.
Stripe is currently in test mode
All API keys are set accordingly, i.e. Live and Test keys.
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
All small bugs that we had are gone with our newest update but we had no issues with the Stripe.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I am also facing the same issue after I updated the amelia plugin yesterday. A client tried booking and the error appeared; never had before the update.
We tested with our test credentials, which we set up at https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/apikeys.
From your screenshot, we see that the ZIP code is missing.
When we try to book with us without a ZIP code, it returns the same error as you have.
4242 4242 4242 4242 is a US-based test card that requires a zip code.
But, even when you enter it there is this error in the console:
First, you copy publishable to publishable, then you go to the reveal test key, and when it appears to you, you copy it and paste it into the secret key.
If you have any more questions please feel free to open another ticket.
We are glad that Stripe works fine now, and that we were able to help you.
Regarding the changes Amelia cant require anything to be mandatory with Stripe and WooCommerce payments, because Amelia itself doesn't process any payments we only have integrations with does payment systems.
So if any change has happened it came from their side and since it is not our product we simply can not know what changes they are implementing.

What are the test credentials used because I am still having this issue. I have tried every Stripe test card.

Yes, it looks like the issue was due to no ZIP code. I used an international test card number instead and it works fine.
My Stripe test API public and secret keys are fine, it's the exact same credentials for WooCommerce and there are no issue with Woo payments.
I was previously using the US card number without ZIP, so why is this happening now? Also, this is not mandatory with WooCommerce test mode.
It seems the latest Amelia update has made it mandatory.

This is drawn from the Stripe API and has always worked that way. Please see this reference: https://stripe.com/docs/js/element/postal_code_formatting
In any case we are glad that everything is fine now and If you have any more questions please feel free to open another ticket.
