On the employee panel and frontend dashboard that we created using WP frontend Admin plugin [services, packages, finances, etc] any employee is able to see ALL services and finances for everyone and not only his/her items.
Is this something that we can prevent? We want employees to be able to edit their own services and packages only but not assign themselves to others' services and packages. We also want them to have a dashboard to see how much they earned [but not how much everyone else and the company did]. Would certainly appreciate your help on this.
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
Im afraid that we didn't quite get what did you use exactly? We are not familiar with "WP frontend Admin plugin" since it is not our product we can not know how it works? Can you explain it to us in a little more detail?
Amelia has its own front-end employee panel, there you employees can only see their appointments, not from another employee.
Front-end Employee Panel allows you to offer your employees an easy way to manage their appointments and events and edit their profile from the front-end page without the need for logging into WordPress. On our demo site here you can take a look and try our Front-end employee panel.
It looks something like this
As for the dashboard for their earning in a separate view in employee panel, currently, there is no such feature built-in. But it is a good suggestion.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
WP Frontend Admin plugin reads pages from the backend and allows members to view them from the front-end. https://wpfrontendadmin.com/
On our website, we ask our employees to create their own services as each employee provides a different and unique service, therefore, we created a page for them to add services and packages from the front-end without having to give them access to the WP backend dashboard.
When the employee adds a service, he sees all other employees' services and packages and he can also edit them. Is there a way we can prevent this? We want each employee to create his own services/packages and be able to edit his own stuff only. Is this something that we can do either with a tweak from your side but using WP front-end Admin plugin, or even something that you can customize for us in exchange for additional payment?
This is a customization of the plugin and that's not how Amelia should work. We don't know what you changed or added, but we don't support the plugin that's has changed built-in functions.
We advise you to check the capabilities through the User Role Editor, or some other plugin, but there is nothing more than that we can do to help you, unfortunately.
If you have any more questions please feel free to open another ticket.
