If you go for one of the online payment options, then your fake clients will need to pay for every appointment they book. You can set it up at Amelia > Settings > Payments. You can also enable deposit payment at your Service's configuration.
Another way would be to get some security plugin (or if your hosting provider offers this as a part of their services) that would register the IP from which this has been happening and block that IP address.
Thank You! I did some investigation and checked the payments settings.
I will use a security plugin to register the ip-adresses from users. Maybe its one person who makes the fake appointments.
How ever, one thing want to mention is this. The 2 fake persons were the only users who has only the ' amelia' wordpress role. So they did make an account somewhere...
If you have an option “Automatically create Amelia Customer user” enabled at Amelia > Settings > Roles Settings > Customer, when a person books an appointment, he gets an Amelia Customer user role automatically. You can edit the roles at WordPress User settings. Here you can find the documentation about Amelia Customer Role Settings.
If you have any more issues or questions feel free to ask.
Hi,
i'm working out a problem my client has (he has a purchase code). But I can aask the question here.
The problem is there are some appointments made by fake customers. So I want that before an appointment is made, the customer have to pay first.
Is there a solution for?

Is there an option to disable that maybe?
