We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I have an enquiry regarding Multiple booking on a single timeslot. On the front end my customers are able to fill up the Basic Latte Art workshop with multiple bookings as long as it's within the max capacity which is 4 at the moment.
eg. I can have 3/4 slot full for a specific workshop but the time slot is still open on the website to fill up the last slot.
Question 1: I tried to filling up that last slot through the back end but I can't set an appointment to it, that specific timeslot doesn't reflect on the screen for me to select. Is there anyway to resolve this?
Question 2: My front end has this workshop name Basic Latte Art Workshop, and on the backend I have another workshop name Basic Latte art workshop(Klook). They are the same workshop both sharing the same Max Pax Capacity(4).
But I'm facing both back end and front end issue of not being able to stack the booking in the system as im using 2 different workshop names for it, is there anyway to resolve this? To be able to stack and update the system.
Thanks
Hi Julien
Thank you for reaching out to us.
1) Enabling "Allow booking below minimum capacity" at Amelia > Settings > Appointments should help. If this option is disabled, your front-end customers won't be able to submit a booking unless they fill in the minimum service capacity, but once they book for any capacity above minimum, the time slot will become unavailable for booking for others.
2) I'm not quite sure about this issue. Could you please provide us with more information and screenshots/video about it?
Best Regards.
Hi Elena,
Thank you for your reply
1) I tired the suggestion you gave but it's not working. It seem to be an option for front end booking, the issue I'm currently facing is with Back-end booking.
In summary I can't do a backend booking on a same times slot when someone has booked/fill it earlier on through front end (regardless how many pax is filled up, even if its just 1 pax).
I have a attachment file with the SS for my issue.
Hi Julien
1) If you want to add a customer to the existing group appointment, you don't need to create a new appointment, but edit existing.
In the Customer(s) field you can choose the customer you want to add to this Appointment.
2) As for your second question, since you have two different Services, Amelia will process them as two different Services. You can assign the same Employee to these two Services, so when one of them is booked, the second becomes unavailable for the same time slot.
