Hello, on my site I provide a room that I want to rent to professionals. I want them to be able to book it directly on my site, so via Amelia.
This room is available for daily rental in 8 a.m. increments, or half-day rentals in 4 a.m. increments (8 a.m. - 12 p.m. / 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. / 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.). I would like my clients to be able to choose between renting it for the day or for the half-day, and that when a client books the room for the day or the half-day, it no longer appears as being available on the times reserved by the customer.
So I created an employee: the room for rent. I created a category of the same name as well as 2 services: half day / day. But given that the room rental schedules between day and half-day overlap, the online agenda appears to be unavailable. I am therefore obliged to offer only the choice of half-days, and it is therefore up to my clients to book several half-days. I wish it was something simpler and more intuitive for them. All they have to do is select a day or half-day and book at the desired times without everything being blocked.
The problem is that I have different availability schedules according to the needs of my customers, but the Amelia application does not allow me to add different types of schedules for one and the same employee or two scheduled services different for an employee. How to do ?
Hello Thaïna,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Well, it seems you can create two services, 8-hour and 4-hour. In the first service, the time slot is from 8 to 16, in the second - as you describe, with buffer times.
If you need some further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Have a great day!
Kind Regards,
Stanislav Snagovskiy
