WP Amelia looks to be (almost) exactly what I'm looking for.
I have two questions:
1) I see that recurring appointments is an option, but what about scheduling multiple different appointments at once? For example, the client can pick 3 different dates (1/27, 2/3 and 2/9 at 9am, 1pm and 2pm, respectively)...is this possible? Or does each date need to be scheduled and paid for separately? Or is it possible to add three different dates to the shopping cart, then check out all at once? If this isn't a feature in Amelia, do you have plans for it in the near future?
2) For SMS text reminders, is the cost simply per text message or is there a monthly fee on top of that?
We will try to answer to all of your questions as best as possible:
1. This is possible with packages of services. Packages of Services is the only feature that is not included in the Basic license, the rest of the features are absolutely identical.
Packages of Services is a feature that allows creating packages of multiple appointments (of the same or different services). In that case, the services that are included in the package and the number of appointments will be fixed, and the price will be set for the whole package. Customers will be able to book included Appointments on any days, with no strict recurrence. You can see more information here.
2. You pay price per SMS and that is it there are no monthly fees. You can see for each country what is the price of SMS
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
1) That's a workaround I could probably live with. A follow-up question is would someone be able to add multiple dates to their shopping cart and then checkout? Or can they only schedule one thing at a time, per payment?
2) That's really awesome. To my knowledge, your plug-in is the only one out there doing native text messaging like this, but I could be wrong. It's seriously one of the main reasons I'm walking away from a different plug-in I bought almost a year ago that doesn't and has no plans for text reminders.
One more question, if you don't mind. If I sign up for the Pro license (annual) and later decide to fully commit for a lifetime license, is that possible and will you apply my original payment towards the lifetime license? Or do I need to decide annual/lifetime right away?
1. When you use the package option they pay it all at once at the end of a booking process, and you can choose how many appointments from your package customers can book or need to book before they can continue to the payment step.
2. You can send SMS text reminders you can even create your custom notification but for text in other languages, you will need to write them yourself - we support it but everyone has its own need so everyone create their own notifications for different languages
3. No you do not need to decide anything right away you can try it first then you can buy the annual and if you decide to upgrade you can do that at any time. You will keep your license but it will be upgraded.
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
