hi see your demo (https://sports.wpamelia.com/) backend to watch how amelia works and i try to simulate my case. In my case i don't need to use multiple employees but if i set only one required employee i can't assign same time availabilty for my services. Is a way to bypass this without set a different employee for each service? i don't want that my clients select a employee but only service and hour.
Last is it a way to extend Duration over 23.30h? two of my two services require 30h as duration and i would use amelia to booking a medical machine.
There is a workaround where you can make the same employees with different emails (you can use the same email by adding numbers for example if your client email address is [email protected] you can make more employees with the same email adding numbers like [email protected],[email protected]...). This is possible for Gmail and Outlook accounts.
The length of the service can't be more than 24 hours, but you can add Extra (Amelia > Services > Edit Service > Extras), set Extra as a mandatory field, and add additional hours there.
If you have any more issues or questions feel free to ask, we will gladly help.
then i can hide in frontend by css. ok. First problem would be resolved.
If i add a field to a service to extend duration but i need a way to hide this field and set value without user interaction.
I do some simulation to book my telemedicine service. I have a medical device that monitoring a person 29,5 hours after installation on his body. Installation require 30minutes and this activity have to take place during office hour while monitoring is a remote activity. So i manage this case using the three field (waiting time before, waiting time after and service duration) but in all simulations it's impossible to find a day where the service is available.
This happen if the total amount of time exceeds 10 hour.
If i bought pro version can you help me to use with my telemedicine service?
Yes, please feel free to open a new ticket, and we'll gladly help.

why open new post? i replyed about your suggestions showing a case where amelia has a bug.
you wrote: "The length of the service can't be more than 24 hours,..."
and i replyed:
Even if I use the maximum amount of time allowed, amelia (23.30) stops working. With a service duration over 10 hours it become impossible to booking anything else then.
Your wrote "...but you can add Extra (Amelia > Services > Edit Service > Extras), set Extra as a mandatory field, and add additional hours there."
and i replyed that his tip involves the user choosing the extra mandatory field while i need that user choosing a date and an hour only.
so if i bought your tool we can resolve this issue? you can try to replicate this scenario from your demo creating a service with duration of 30min and with a time After next booking of 23.30 hours. From calendar all of day are't bookable so it's impossible to booking.
Service duration, buffer time before and buffer time after the service, and extras all fall under appointment length. So, when those are combined, they can't go over 24 hours.
If the service lasts 10 hours, the buffer time before is 5 hours, and the buffer time after is 5 hours, while the Extra lasts for 4 hours and 01 minute - it won't work because it would last 24:01.
So, what you're looking for to achieve can't be done. We'll work on it in the future, but there's no ETA yet.
If you need some further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
