We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi, how can I insert an extra mandatory field ONLY for those who book online?
My employee does not have to select the required field from the backend booking.
How can I do?
Hello Rosetta,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
1) You can find detailed information on how to do it here: https://wpamelia.com/custom-fields/.
Watch a video version on How to use Custom Fields in Amelia, as well, please:
2) Сould you provide me with more information and screenshots, regarding this? So I will be able to understand what do you mean and help you.
Have a great day!
Kind Regards,
Stanislav Snagovskiy

How can I get it as per screenshot?
Dear Rosetta,
Thanks for the clarification.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features. You can't set the same field to be required in the frontend and not required in the backend.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, and see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.
After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis.
If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to open a new ticket, and we'll gladly help.
Take care!
Kind Regards,
Stanislav Snagovskiy
