Hi,

It's my understanding that Amelia currently does not support the sale of Gift Cards.

However, if I use a different plugin to sell Gift Cards (which generate a classic WooCommerce coupon code), will clients be able to redeem them using the Amelia interface?

So the WooCommerce coupons will NOT work with the Amelia checkout shown in this picture? 

I would gladly use Amelia's built-in coupons, but I would need a function that generates them automatically whenever a customer buys a Gift Card. As a spa, more than half our sales are gift cards, so this is a mandatory feature for us. Please consider adding it in the near future!

I agree Mireia Balaguer - automating the coupons is something that many of my clients require who use Amelia Booking in their website. The coupons are great and very easy to create but unfortunately they are not automated to generate if somebody buys a gift card. In a website I built I created an event that was at the end of the year and called it gift card - people buy the gift card (event) and then in the email response I added a piece of text saying "Gift Voucher Number" and pasted the order number shortcode. This way customers get an auto-generated code for their gift card. However they cannot use it in the website until I go in manually and add the code to the coupons area in the backend. Its a workaround but not perfect as it would be better if i could assign this event to auto generate a coupon for customers.
