Table Data Not Matching

    Hello,

    I've created several tables and am using them at the above URL.  I'm having continual issues in the "Men's Sport" points table, as what I see within my WP-Admin "Excel" view is not matching what is actually on the site/table.

    I've refreshed pages, cleared cache - but I still see a couple results twice on the webpage  - and other names aren't showing at all.  Any idea what might be causing this?

    Thanks.

    As an added note, I can make the edit/updates in both the standard view and/or Excel view within the plug-in - and see the updates in the preview of the table.  But if I flip to the actual site/screen with the table on it, the data is not refreshing at all.

    Hi, Ed Kraft

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    - At first look at the page, we can not see duplicate names on the "Men's Sport" points table, and we can't tell which ones are missing ( that are showing on the Back End, but not on the page).

    Please provide me with a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

    We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

    You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    And if you could point out a couple of values for us, which names seem to be duplicated, and which are missing from the front page ( just to have a couple of values to look out for)

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović

    Hi, Ed Kraft

    Apologies for the late response; I wanted to take more time to see and find multiple solutions for you so that you can choose what could be best for your situation.

    - Getting an "automatic zero" input in the empty integer fields is the default behaviour of integers in a database, but there are workarounds.

    Here is an easy built-in solution; just an important note to know: if you plan on using the "average" column calculation function with this, that would stop working.

    - If you don't need the average calculation column function - this should be easily fixable.

    When you click on column settings, go to Conditional Formatting. There you can enter a rule:

    So, when a 0 is found in the cell, it'll just lose it and display blank cells for all the columns that have this setting:

    I set this up in your column settings; check how it looks, hopefully, at least for a start, we got that out of the way.

    I wasn't sure if you want this in all the columns; in case you don't need it in some of them; you can go into the column setting and remove the "conditional rule".

    2.

    Regarding the caching/save issues, I was not able to replicate the behaviour so far; but I escalated this to our developers to see if they will advise with their testing environment;

    I will get back to you at the latest on Monday if not earlier, to keep you posted. Sorry that it is going slower than I expected, but we will do our best to assist you with this, and we appreciate your patience.

    If you want to try more things in the meantime, did you try changing the WP theme to one of the default ones, such as Twenty Twenty, just to rule that out;

    and if you have an example of some specific values not properly being saved/duplicated as you described.

    The best would be to record a video showing us the issues if you catch them as they happen, or a screenshot; that could help speed up the process.

    Kind Regards,

    TMS, thanks.  The conditional rule does work for the columns I don't want a zero put into yet.  I'll be making table updates tomorrow, so I will post back on caching issues I see.  Thanks for your help!

    Hi, Ed Kraft

    Glad to see that the conditional rule is doing the trick for the zeroes;

    Sounds like a plan; thank you for your patience as well; let's see how it goes.

    If you manage to catch one or more instances where you can see those mentioned doubled values, or some values not being saved as you try to store them; that would help us try to recognize the issue as it happens.
