Thank you for your patience, I sincerely apologize for such a delayed reply to this.
- Can you please tell me, what kind of table are you using as the data source while creating the chart, is it possibly linked to a Google Spreadsheet or some other type of data?
- While creating the table, you have to additionally tell wpDataTables what data type the columns will be, and you will have to convert one of the columns for this to work; but I would like to take a closer look so that we can isolate the exact issue, and try to find a solution for you.
- If you use a file linked to the table; if it does not contain any sensitive data, you could send it to us, so that we can take a look;
and if you want to save time, you could also provide me with a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
- Sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, for the time being, that is not possible, because the logic for creating charts requires one string type column(which includes string, and date…) and all others have to be integers or floats.
- So, if you could please try to change the type of the Date column; for example, if it is just showing the year, you could try the "float" type, and see if that solves it, to successfully create the chart, as a possible workaround?
Getting error for 2 strings when adding a chart, but I only have 1 strong column.
"Please do not add more then one string-type (date/time, image, email, URL) column since only one can be used as a label"

Hi, Andrew.
I took a look at the spreadsheet, and at the table on your WP- Admin side.
Basically, for charts in our plugin, you won't be able to use more than one string column type column(string, date, DateTime...).
You can use only one string type column and all others have to be integers or float types to be able to create charts in wpdatatables.
So, for example, you could try changing the data type of the "year" column to a float type in the column setting, and see if that helps?
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Is a String and Date not possible? I'm using one String.
