I recently started using Amelia and it's great! Much less hassle than the plug-in I previously used.
I offer different services with myself as the only employee. Because I want some services only to happen on certain hours I had to create different employees with different working hours for myself (Amelia doesn't allow overlapping working hours). They all share the same Google agenda. As such this is working perfectly.
Service S1 Employee E1 1h 18:00-22:00 Buffer 15 min Service S1 Employee E1 1h 18:30-22:00 Buffer 15 min etc...
But....
I now see that buffer time does not work between employees (basicly myself ;-)). Today I had 3 bookings for 3 different services/employees and the buffer time is not applied. This means I have no time in between to set up my room for the next service.
For example: when I have 2 consecutive S1 bookings Amelia allows these: 18:00-19:00 and 19:15-20:15. A nice 15 min buffer in between. But with different employees it can be S1 18:00-19:00 and S2 19:00-20:00. So no buffer when I needed it most :-/
What can I do to make this work? I can add a manual buffer in my Google calendar after a booked appointment, but then I have to be really quick before some else does a booking!
It would be nice if Amelia allows either different working hours for different services for the same employee or makes sure that the buffer time is taken into account for employees that use the same Google calendar.
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
We understand your wishes it is not simple to achieve this but we will try.
You can always set Minimum time required before booking option to be a little longer
Some couple of hours or
you can use the buffer time before as well as after the appointments
If none of these options works for you I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
