We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Greetings TMS team,
can we somehow limit visibility of the employees per manager / location - like a company hierarchy in the dashboard?
In our setup all the managers can see other employees and other locations besides their own.
Hello Damir
Thank you for reaching out to us.
You can change the permissions of your Amelia Managers or Amelia Employees using User Role Editor plugin.
To configure the permissions, you go to Users > User Role Editor, and select the role you want to change. After configuring the role, click Update.
By default, Amelia Manager and Amelia Employee roles have different permissions. Maybe just simple changing your user's role would be OK for you.
You can find a documentation about Users and Roles here.
If you have any more issues or questions feel free to ask, we will gladly help.
wonderful, I found what I needed to change.
but, when I limit the services to one manager there are they all still visible.
I denied view_others_services but still not working.
Please help.
Damir, if I got you right, you want the Manager not to be able to see the Employees services. You need to deselect amelia_read_services for Amelia Manager role.
If you want an Employee not to be able to see other's Employees Services, it's impossible, I'm afraid.
Also, we do not recommend adding multiple user roles of Amelia to a single user (Amelia Manager and Amelia Employee, for example). Roles have their own capabilities and if you combine them, the plugin will run into a conflict it can't resolve (a paradox, so to speak).
If you have any more issues or questions feel free to ask, we will gladly help.
