Unfortunately, the custom fields are not customizable, as you cannot add attributes to the custom field to limit the number of characters inside the custom field.

i understand this cant be done on the amelia booking interface,
but, i want to go into the files, for example in my file manager on the hosting, enter the files for the plugin and add <input minlength="8"> for example, to restrict the field from the code,
the same way for example to bring a image into my html email design and send via amelia booking 'notifications' i went into the files and added a image too ;
i want too find the file attached to a custom filed and add the input value as stated above, i just wondered if you could help me locate this file?
im new to coding so you will have to excuse my bad explanations,
please see the attached image, that is me inspecting a custom field on the front end of my site, i want too add the value too this bit off code but in the files so it takes effect live, can you help direct me too said file where would find this code that controls that field?
Sorry for the late response. Our team is cut in half due to Covid-19 infections, so our response times are longer than usual. Thank you for your patience!
We have passed this onto one of our developers which will provide us with an update if that is possible and what code is needed exactly as this cannot be done with CSS.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
hey, i have two custom fields, and i want to edit the 'input' code too them in the actual files,
one custom field is 'passport number' which i want to restrict with a min/max character inout,
the others are along the long of 'date of entry to UK'
i would like to add a inout so the user can only type the date as 'DD/MM/YYYY' so like a permant place holder of __/__/____
hopefully this is possible
if it is, which im sure i can do myself,
my question is,
where can i find the files that control these fields so i can edit the 'input' of them?
kind regards and much thanks for all responses
