Perhaps for the time being a workaround could be saving a copy/backup of the languages folder that you manually changed on another location, at the moments before you manually apply updates, and then copying the folder back into the location/overwriting the files again.

Double-check that the "auto-updates" setting is disabled for the wpDataTables plugin in the WP Admin Plugins tab;

but we see that is not convenient for you, and apologies for that.

I will certainly pass this on to our developers, so they will try to create a solution for the long run in the future, if possible.

- Terribly sorry; we realised after going through the translations, that you have translated a couple of strings;

but in order for our developers to implement this into the plugin's core, you would have to translate everything.

Very sorry about this again; if you translate fully, you can then send us the translation files again, and we will implement them into the plugin for you.
