When I try to create a chart using the Chart Wizard, my wpDataTables do not populate when trying to select a data source. More specifically I am trying to create a test radar chart using a wpDataTable I manually entered. See screenshots of 1- preexisting wpDataTables and 2-options during data source selection.
Hello,
When I try to create a chart using the Chart Wizard, my wpDataTables do not populate when trying to select a data source. Hi Grace Ryan.
I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
- This is happening because you created the table using the "Simple" method.
Simple tables are not possible to be used for Charts.
Could you try using the "Manual" method, please?
Here is a documentation section with a step-by-step example of how to do this - https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/creating-new-wpdatatables-with-table-constructor/building-and-filling-in-the-tables-manually/
And here is some additional documentation about making charts, if you didn't read this already ( if you did, apologies) - https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/wpdatacharts/creating-charts-wordpress-wpdatachart-wizard/
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
