Our page is behind a firewall, but the page is a basic employee listing. Any field which is a simply text entry can be edited, but the ones that require dropdown cannot.
For example, our "state" field has 2 possible options, our "disabled" option has 2, our "department" has 8, none of these work.
Each field was set up with permissions in the example...

Edit:
From the front end edit, you see the drop-arrow, but it is unclickable.
I was able to do some additional testing and the dropdowns are working on the admin side, so it appears to be front end only. I also discovered that the "SHow X Entries" is not working.
I tested (normally front end it off) turning the bootstrap features on/off but no change.
Good call on the Front-end Bootstrap setting. This is caused by a conflict with some other plugin's bootstrap.js, but we will need to comment a few lines of code to get it to work.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

All other table aspects seem to work just fine.

This can be closed, issues resolved with manual changes to "Look at line 1510 in ../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wdttools.php"
