We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello,

Some of my client's events are only bookable on an external website - yet, they still need to appear in her timetable if possible.

E.g. on the link I have shared, there are two 'soul flow' classes. One is bookable normally through this website. The other - the earlier one at Yogasara, is only bookable at Yogasara's website, which is separate. This means we need to create an event which still shows up in the timetable, yet is not 'bookable' on my client's website, but redirects them instead to Yogasara's website to book.

Is there a way to make this work?

    Thank you,

    Kay

    Hello Kayleigh,

Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.

Unfortunatelly, currently, there is no such feature built-in.

It goes like this one site - one Amelia. You cannot retrieve data from one site's database and display it on another site.

I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.

Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

    Kind Regards,

    Marko Davidovic [email protected]

Hi Marko, thank you so much for your help.

Just to clarify, it isn't that I want to integrate with another site's data - I simply want to be able to create an event in Amelia, which shows up in the Amelia calendar, yet it has no booking capability on this website, but instead simply redirects to another site for booking.

Is there any way to do this?

If not, I wonder what the best way to describe this as a feature would be so it is clear. Does the following make sense?:

Situation: A yoga teacher wants a comprehensive timetable on their website of all the classes they teach. Using the Amelia calendar, their classes are all scheduled as events, which are bookable on their website.

Problem: The majority of their classes are fine to book via their website and Amelia set up. However, the yoga teacher teaches a couple of classes which are only bookable on an external studio website. They don't want students to be able to book these classes on their website with Amelia. But, they do want these events to show up in their Amelia timetable/calendar. For students who wish to take these classes (which need to be booked externally), there is no need to manage their bookings or collect any data at all via Amelia and/or the teachers own website. They simply just need to be directed elsewhere.

    Solutions?:

    1. The ability to create an event, which appears in the Amelia calendar, yet is unbookable. In other words the ability to create an event simply for information purposes - which appears in the Amelia calendar - but is not a bookable thing.  (Most other calendar plugins offer this function).

And it would be great if:

    2. Perhaps the 'book now' button could have a feature where you could add a hyperlink which simply redirects elsewhere instead of triggering the Amelia booking process/journey.

    3. Or, perhaps the 'book now' button could be hidden/disabled and a hyperlink could be included in the class description directing students to book elsewhere.

    Hello Kayleigh,

If you want to create an event just for informational purposes you can do that easily.

You can create an event for example "informational purpose" and set that capacity is one. After that just add an "imaginary" attendee and the event will be full but the description/information of that event will be visible. Something like this

Will this help you, serve your purpose?
