I am using WP Tables to link to an Excel file. One of the fields is "Language." In my excel file, some people speak multiple languages (English, French, German). As you can see in this image, the filter doesn't display the checkboxes as they should be. (There should be one checkbox for each language). Is there a way I can format my Excel file differently, or something else differently, to accomplish this goal?
The table pulls the values from all cells, so since you have all three languages in one cell, it sees it as a unique value.
What you can do is open this column's settings, and go to the Data tab. In there, change "Possible values for column" from "Read from table on page load" to "Define values list":
Then, in the "Values list", manually add the languages that are included in this column, and that's it. It should allow you to select each language as an individual selection.
