Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Searching Dates in a Table
Closed

Hello. I'm playing around in the wpDataTables free trial sandbox using "Travel Agency Offers" as my data source. The table has columns for "Date" and "End Date." When I try to search the table for a specific date as it appears in one of those columns, the search returns "No Matching Records Found." Using the filtering fields works fine, but for the project I'm working on I'd also like to search dates whether by day, month, year, or just by year. I'm concerned being able to use the search box for some data but not for others will be too confusing for potential site viewers. How can I use the search feature for dates?

    Hello Alexander

Thank you for your interest in our plugin and sorry for the late response.

The date columns can only use the date-range filter correctly while using any other filters (along with the global search) can return wrong or no results depending on the format of the dates, and the formats that you're using.

This issue has been forwarded to our developers, so they can look into it, and I hope they will be able to resolve it soon. I apologize for the inconvenience, but hopefully, this will be resolved in one of our future updates.

    Kind Regards,
