Apologies if I misunderstood some parts of the questions, but looking at the way you described the client, I suppose you actually meant the employee. 

If that is the case, you can enable multiple options to allow employees to have control of their working hours, days off, services, and so on. Please see the attached image.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

There is already a customer panel access notification on the Notifications page, thus there is no need to create a custom notification for customer panel access.

Also, I can see that you set up notifications with PHP Mail.  We strongly recommend changing the mail service setting to SMTP or Mailgun because the email that is sent with PHP Mail generally gets flagged as spam by mail servers and also can take some time to send. Check this link on how to configure SMTP and Mailgun mail services.
