Creating a custom table to show bookings to customer instead of using customer panel

    Hi again,

I'm building a site that will be a membership-only site that allows professionals to book with other professionals. So all users will have the Membership Role and Amelia Employee role while they book appointments with each other (while logged in as employees).

Since Amelia doesn't allow my employee users to see the customer panel (so they can see appointments they booked with others) without having to login again with a different email to see the customer panel appointments (I can't have my users use two different emails/logins for the same site), I need to create a custom table by getting data from the otm_amelia_appointments table to display their appointments booked with other professionals onto a page while the user is signed in as normal (membership & employee role). I had an issue trying to filter the table to only show the appointments for the logged in user instead of everyone because there isn't a field in that table with the relationship of provider id tied to users. Is it possible to do this with WP DataTables? I was trying to achieve this using the WP Data Access plugin. If so, can you tell me how I can achieve this?

I saw on a previous ticket, #2862458, that someone was trying to do the same thing and had to use custom code to be able to get the logged in user name from the Provider Id so only the logged in user can see their own appointments. So this gave me the impression that it could work but it didn't say where to put their data query code.

Any help would be great as I would like to keep using this plugin.

    Thank you,

    Jeremy

    Hello Jeremy,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.

We definitely recommend Codeable for custom work for Amelia, because of their reputation for very high quality service and their ability to provide free estimates with no-obligation to hire for our customers who need developer help, we just advise customers to follow this link Codeable Custom Solution for Amelia plugin (with it they would know you come from us).

If you need some further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

    Have a nice day!

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for replying and giving me an idea where to get extra help. Is Codeable a better option rather than the option listed on this page for WP Kraken?

Also, I was hoping to get a little bit more info or help like the guy in the other ticket received. I am basically asking for the same thing but I'd like to know the answer of where to put the code that you guys said would work. Or does wpDataTables have the capability to filter the logged-in user by the provider_id field? Thanks!

    You are welcome, Jeremy,

We do not provide custom work. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, there is no advice we could share about this, at the moment. Since what you're trying to do is a customization request, we cannot help you with it (customizations are not included in the provided support for the plugin). Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, we can also recommend this service for customization:

    https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins

They do develop such solutions, so can you please send your inquiry to them?

If you have any more issues or questions feel free to ask, we will gladly help.

    Thank you and stay safe.
