We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Service duration defines hours - global setting

    Hello There,

I've opened really few hours to be booked on the frontend for customers.

In this case I want the "slots" of possibilities be equal to the duration of the services. So between 9h and 13h15 I can only show three availabilities for 1hour duration services with 15min break. Works perfectly.

But I duplicated all those services to be booked in the backend only. I want flexibility with those appointments, so I can choose to start an appointment at 9am or 9:10 or 12:20 - but the setting is global and I can't override it for some services - what I'm looking for.

See capture of the setting I want to have more control of.

Is there any workaround for this?

    Thanks in advance !

    Hello,

Unfortunately, the global settings are applied to both from a backend and frontend, so you could possibly, change the global settings before creating an appointment from the backend, and then change it back to original settings once you have the appointment created from the backend.

In the services you don't want to be shown on the front-end, you can disable "Show service on site", so they can only be booked from the back-end.

In Settings/Roles/Admin, enable "Allow admin to book appointment at any time", so you're able to book these appointments outside of employee's work hours.

Another option would be to add a new employee, which will cover these services. The custom work hours for that employee could be from 00 - 24h, so they "work" all day. To prevent double bookings (if this is in fact one employee in real life, that will cover all services), you need to configure Google Calendar and link both employees to the same calendar, so when one service is booked, the other services are blocked during those times.

Please reach out to us if you have any more questions.

    Kind Regards,
