HI, Since installing and setting up the scheduler, I'm now seeing an after image of the booking widget every time I switch pages. See attached. There is also some slow down in speed. My site was recently worked on by an SEO person and speed between pages was outstanding. But the weird artifact is the biggest problem. Thanks.
We can see you are using a pop up to display the booking form so that might be the cause of the issue.
We do have a pop up solution for Elementor but it needs to have the ID of the button that is calling the popup, so this is how one of the shortcodes should look like in the Elementor pop-up:
[ameliabooking trigger=amelia-button-id]
so if the button ID is 1 it will be:
[ameliabooking trigger=1]
So, you create a PopUp and set this shortcode in the popup, you will see the option Load booking form manually when you create Amelia shortcode, where you need to provide the button's ID, please look at the attachment.
When you create a button, on which the PopUp will be called, you set its Button ID (that you will provide in the shortcode above afterwards):
You need to enable the "Prevent Closing on Overlay" option in the popup settings:
Can you please tell us how was this pop up created and how did you add Amelia booking form to it?
On the screenshot I can see this is your button ID amelia-custom-id so the shortcode you need to add to the page where you want this pop up added should be [ameliabooking trigger=amelia-custom-id]
So you would simply add the shortcode to the page using the website editor and you are all set
Also I have the Amelia form on 2 different pages. I'd rather have the non-popup on my Contact/Fee page. So I use the different short code for that, yes, and no button? - If you want to use a simple booking form without the pop up can simply choose one of these available shortcodes based on what you need to display and place it the same way on the desired page
Hi Blazenka, I already have that shortcode in place in the template according to your video instructions. See screenshot. Is it supposed to go somewhere else too???
The problem isn't the popup opening. It's the bar with x image that's coming up on every page before opening. Did you move around my site to see it? resonatehomeopathy.com
Can you tell me what do you mean by the pop up template?
I was able to see the issue on the page but we need to make sure the pop up is created correctly so we can rule out this is as a cause. It could be a conflict with the theme or another plugin you have installed so you can try disabling one by one to see if it will resolve the issue if you are sure the pop up is configured correctly.
If you don't mind you can provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thanks for your reply Aleksandar. Ugh. This is becoming a pain in the neck. Maybe the easiest thing to do to let you on is for me to back up the site as it is now. Then you can fiddle around and I can always go back to the earlier version if I need to. I do have a staging plugin but it's more or less the same function as saving a back up. My host told me to install a plug in for hidden WP admin log on. Then I can give that log on to you. I'll get that done today or tomorrow and send you the log on info. And yes, for sure I have checked off "prevent closing on overlay"
This issue is not coming from Amelia as it behaves the same way when Amelia is disabled. We left Amelia disabled on the staging site, so you can see that it still behaves in the same way.
Maybe it's coming from Elementor - can you reach out to them, and see if they can help?
There are no conflicts with Elementor Popup and Amelia. The only thing worth mentioning is that currently, you cannot use Elementor's Amelia Widgets in the popup, but only the Shortcode widget, but that's it.
If there were any conflicts in the past, they have been resolved (although I can't remember that we ever had a conflict in this regard). We wouldn't be promoting this feature and record videos if there were any conflicts.
You do need to configure the notification settings before you can send out emails and/or SMS. Please check out our documentation, and let me know if you have any questions related to it.
You don't need to purchase anything else in order to use the notifications. You only need to configure the notification settings. If you're using Gmail, you need to use this data:
This is an example of using SMTP with Gmail, but all mailing providers have their own credentials, so you need to find them if you want to use something else, other than Google. You can also use WP Mail in Notification settings, which do not require any custom setup.
As for work hours, I can see that you configured the company's working hours, which are not mandating the same hours of employees. So, other than checking your company's work hours, please go to Amelia/Employees, and access an employee's profile. In "Work Hours" tab check the work hours of each employee.
If that doesn't help, please provide me with wp-admin (Administrator) credentials for your site in a PRIVATE response, and I'll gladly take a look.
When I tried to access your site with the credentials you provided last, the access is 403 - Forbidden, so please make sure to white-list Serbia so that I can see what's going on.

Hello Lissi
You don't need to purchase anything else in order to use the notifications. You only need to configure the notification settings. If you're using Gmail, you need to use this data:
Also, in your Google Account, you would need to enable "Allow less secure apps".
This is an example of using SMTP with Gmail, but all mailing providers have their own credentials, so you need to find them if you want to use something else, other than Google. You can also use WP Mail in Notification settings, which do not require any custom setup.
