We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

How is schedule constructed with varying services of differing times?

If there are two services offered of differing lengths of time (service A = 60 minutes, service B = 90 minutes),  what are the specific time slots offered to customers wanting to book an appointment?  Are there time slots offered throughout the day thus possibly creating huge chunks of inactive time?

And is there a way to offer fixed time slots?

    Thank you!

    Hello Sheryl

Amelia offers time slots based on your employee's working hours. So, if the employee works from 09:00 to 17:00, and he's assigned to both services, the time slots will be offered differently, but they will depend on each other.

For example, 09:00 - 10:00 for service A. So when service A is booked at this time, the next time slot for both services will be from 10:00 - 11:00. If a customer books the Service B at that time, the next slot will be at 12:30 for both services. Amelia does offer booking of all time slots during your employee's work hours, so it can happen that you have one appointment at 09:00 and then just one more appointment throughout the entire day, at 15:30.

You can read more about how to set up time slots here: https://wpamelia.com/general-settings/#Default-Time-Slot-Step
