Hi, I'm new to the plugin and I'm having trouble finding out how to set static time slots.
At the moment I can set the working hours and buffer times, and then the system automatically generates the time slots (which all cross over with one another).
Ideally, I need to just specify exact time slots. For example 1:00 pm, 1:45 pm, 2:30 pm etc
Is this possible? And if so, how?
Best wishes,
Ashley
Hello Ashley,
Thank you for purchasing Amelia, and for reaching out to us.
There is a lot of possibilities so it would be much appreciated if you can write in a little more detail what exactly you want to achieve with how many services and with how many employees, etc.
But in case you want only to set that available time slot to be one every 45 minutes (for example 09-09.45, 09.45.-10.30, 10.30-11.15, etc), you can do that easily in Amelia/general settings/Default Time Slot Step and set it up to 45 minutes.
But please note that since this is a Default Time Slot Step everything will be at least 45 minutes long for example you won't be able to set buffer time smaller than 45 minutes.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,

Hi Marko,
Thanks for getting back to me.
My exact requirements are as follows:
Hello Ashley,
I understand you completely but unfortunately, it can be done like that.
If you want to set up that available time slot are on every 45 minutes exactly that can be only achieved in the "Amelia/general settings/Default Time Slot Step" and set it up to 45 minutes.
But then the minimum time interval that can be set anywhere on the site is 45 minutes. You cant set less than that so the minimum buffer time that you can set up is 45 minutes.
I understand your requirements but simply it cant be achieved. The best you can do is to set Default Time Slot Step to be on 15 minutes then you can set up the service for 30 minutes and buffer time on 15 minutes but then your customer will see available time slots(that are not booked) on every 15 minute.
For example, if you have an appointment from 09-09.45 your customers will be able to see free time slots 09.45, 10.00, 10.15, etc. Unfortunately, there is no other way.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic marko.davidovic@tms-outsource.com

How disappointing, and for such a basic feature as well.
Thanks for your assistance, but I may have to look into an alternate solution.
Hello Ashley,
You can add suggestion on this page if you wish. Unfortunately, there isn't anything else that I can offer you there is no workaround for this.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
Kind Regards,
