    Hi Pepy

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please tell us what was the status of these Appointments in the end? Did they remain Pending/Approved or the status was changed to Cancelled?

This usually happens when there’s some URL link checker as a security option either in Chrome or on your mailing platform.

So, when you include the %appointment_cancel_url% that virus checker checks the URL and cancels the appointment.

The solution would be to enable the Customer panel, so even if the link is clicked, Customers will actually need to go into the panel and cancel their appointments manually.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Good Morning Blaženka

Thank you for replying to me.

The status of all these appointments was APPROVED and was changed to CANCELLED automatically.

I will have a couple of questions:

    1) Is there any change to resolve this issue without enabling the CUSTOMER PANEL?
    2) If I want to enable the CANCEL notification for customers, Do I have the same issue?
    3) Can you please tell me step by step how can I enable this in the CUSTOMER PANEL?
    4) Can you also send me a LINK where I can see it, please?

Thank you very much. I will be more than appreciated
I look forward to hearing from you.
    Regards
    Pepy

    Hi Pepy

    1. For example: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/malware-url-scanner/ianpniapgjchiheejeipopldaanbjicd This virus & URL scanner is a chrome extension which checks any URL for potential viruses or malware. To check the link, it needs to visit the URL. Once the URL is visited by the extension, the appointment is canceled. So in cases like this unfortunately it is not possible to do anything else than forward your customers to the customer panel.

    2. As soon as the link is followed the action is completed so it doesn't really matter which notification you use.

    3. You need to enable this feature from the backend, Amelia - Settings - Role settings - Customer - Enable Customer Panel then place the customer panel shortcode as a hyperlink to a notification you are going to use

    4. I am not sure what you are referring to here but here is a link on how to set up a customer panel, but do let me know if you has something else in mind
