I embedded the booking form with the service specific shortcode [ameliabooking service=1].
The problem is that on the front end the step-by-step booking wizard skips the "number of participants" step (which should be step 1).
Therefore now customers see only the calendar, without the possibility to change the number of participants (I do not see anymore the "bringing anyone with you?" step).
Until yesterday everything was working properly, and it showed the "bringing anyone with you" step.
Just so you know, the services' maximum of participants is set to 30.
Just so you know, as a temporary workaround I am now using the general [ameliabooking] shortcode. Which is not the ideal customer experience in our case
Can you please send us a link to the page where we can test this behavior? All we could see was the same booking form and it has this option turned on and displaying as expected.
This could be a conflict with the theme or another plugin you currently have installed but we will need to have a closer look at the issue before we can make any further guesses.
If you turn off the option to select an employee for the form 'catalog booking form - catalog service - step 2' or `step by step booking form` `service` it directly also hides the option 'bringing anyone with you'. So now I have activated the option to select a employee and it gives the option to add additional people as you can see, so please have this in mind.
You can modify the text displayed on the booking form from the customize tab. The first line is coming from the box on top but you can change the wording for the Bringing anyone with you label as well if needed
I hope this helps, do let us know if you need any further assistance.
I tried to do that, but still the text that it inserted in the box on top doesn't show up on the booking form. I have also switched on the toggle "display label", but nothing.
Did you clear the cache after making the change? You could be seeing a cached version of the page so that's way you can't see the changes.
We will gladly look into this further, if you can provide us a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I checked the "Colosseum Live Virtual Tour" page, and it looks fine to me:
The label is changed successfully.
So if you haven't done anything, it was most likely linked to cache on your server. It's not related to the Browser's cache, but the cache on your site. Clearing the cache should resolve the issue. Do you still have any issues on the site?
As for the "Check availability" - that can't be included, so you can't check if there are places left before selecting the date and the time.
thanks for your reply. The label does not appear on your page either. What I'd like to do is to insert a simple text like "check availability" (or any other call to action) on top of "are you booking for more than one person?".
I saw that in one of your demos this was present, I attached a screenshot. In this case the text is "book appointment".
I tried to add this, as Blazenka instructed me to do, but it doesn't show on any of the devices I tried with, and not even on your end, as I can see from your screenshot.
What you see is [ameliacatalog] booking form. The string that you see (Book Appointment) is not available in the Step-by-Step Booking form, which you're currently using on your site.
So, you need to replace the shortcode (or the widget) on the page, and then in Amelia/Customize, you would be able to change "Book Appointment":
You would need to select "Step 2" in here:
So, zoomed out:
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you so much Blaženka, now this is fixed 😊
I have another question: I'd like to add a text ("CHECK AVAILABILITY") on top of "Bringing anyone with you". How can I do that?
I've attached a screenshot of one of the Amelia demos where the text added is "Book your appointment".
Thank you!
You are most welcome, I am glad to hear that

Is there anything else I should check?
Thank you!
