We are having an issue whereby details of repeat orders are not appearing in the email notifications to customer , nor on the screen while making the bookings.
When a customer makes a repeat booking,
only the details (date & time) of the first appointment appears on the screen and on the confirmation email to customer and to admin
the details of the subsequent appointments are not displayed.
the total price of the multiple bookings however appear. For example, if 3 repeated bookings (Rs 800/- each) were made, the total of Rs 2400 is appearing.
grateful if you could guide us how to resolve this whereby all the dates & time for the repeated appointments are mentioned properly on the screen and in the emails.
before the last update, all the confirmation we did not observe this issue.
In order to send the list of recurring appointments in your notifications, you need to copy and paste the %recurring_appointments_details% placeholder to the notifications. Once you do that go to the Settings page, open Appointments Settings, and you will see the option “Recurring placeholders”. By default in this field, you will have just %appointment_date_time% placeholder which means that the list of recurring appointments will be sent just with the date and time of each appointment. If you want some additional data to be sent to the list, all you need to do is to copy the placeholders from the notification page here and the list of recurring appointments will be sent with those data.
This is the default description of WooCommerce's cart.
Here's how this can be overridden. Go to Amelia Settings/Payments, and scroll down and open "MetaData and Description". There, you can configure the description that will show up in the cart (otherwise it uses the default cart description that you see):
When you add it like this (it currently has to be in HTML Mode, because we have a bug with the test mode, but it will be fixed for the next update), the cart shows this:
It can be modified per Appointment, Package, and Event. The example shown above is for Events only.
Before adding the %recurring_appointments_details% placeholder to the email notifications, it first needs to be set up to define shat it would display for each of the appointments that are repeating.
To open this menu, you need to click "Configure placeholder here" right below the notifications:
After you set up the placeholder, test it out, it should work just fine.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
I have configured the Amelia settings as per your guidance. I have been able to see the correct listing if the recurring appointments on the screen (see attachment) . we are still having 2 issues as follows:
the customer is having the details of the recurring appointments. Instead "%recurring_appointments_details%" is appearing instead of date & time of appointment, Please guide me where I am going wrong. (as per attachment)
Also, on the screen, before we proceed with check-out of Amelia, the day " Mon or Fri" of appointment is not appearing properly, instead "055" is appearing next to date.
I have just checked your recurring appointment details placeholder configuration and it seems like you have placed %recurring_appointments_details% inside of its configuration and that is why it is displayed in emails the way that you showed via screenshots.
You need to add different placeholders for the information you want to be displayed in the email (%appointment_date%...).
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
