Hey everyone!

With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:

After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Warm regards and happy holidays!

Hello, I am creating a website for a yoga teacher and I am struggling to make Amelia work for my requirements.

All classes are regular group classes at set weekly time which individuals can book for £12 per class. I must be able to offer packages - e.g. 5 classes for £50.

I understand that to create packages the classes must be created as 'services' rather than recurring events.

Question 1: how do I create services to show up on the calendar view as regular weekly bookable classes? Can I only do this with events? Does that mean it is impossible to have a calendar view of bookable classes at the same time as offering class packages?

Question 2: when I set classes up as 'services' and create 'packages' of these service - the packages only work for appointments. How do I link the service (a yoga class at a set time which individuals can book separately as a one-off or buy a package of classes) to the event calendar if it is not an event but a service? Is this possible?

Question 3: If a student buys the package option, is it possible to have a setting where they can choose any mix they desire of different classes for the five class bookings? Or would they need to book five of the same class?

I am struggling to understand how to use your software in a way which works for this client.

    Can you help?

To summarise what I need to do:

I need to create a schedule of regular classes which students can book.

These classes are at a set time in a set location - the same every week.

Individuals can book into an existing class - like booking a ticket to an event (i.e. it is NOT a 1:1 'appointment' with a student or a set group of students)

They can pay £12 per individual class booking

Or, choose to pay £50 for 5 classes

If there are 7 different classes, at seven different locations (but location is always the same for that particular class), a student who buys the £50 for 5 classes option can purchase any mixture of the 5 classes they like.

Thank you so much for your help!

    Hello Kayleigh,

Thank you for purchasing Amelia, and for reaching out to us.

We will try to answer to all of your questions as best as possible but please note when you have questions or issues which are not related to the title of the active ticket, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there.

In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.

Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already. Thank you for understanding.

    1. Currently, there is no such feature built-in in Amelia. For now, it can not be done. But when you set up working hours for the employee that is assigned to that service they will see in the booking process what are available time slots.

    2. At the moment, Events cannot be used with Packages, only Appointments (Services).

    3. Yes it is possible to offer customers a package where they will have the option to choose 5 appointments but if you have 5 services and give them the option that for all 5 services they can choose up to 5 meetings they will then have to pay for all 25 meetings at once as a package.

You will need to create restrictions on how many classes they can choose per service our advice is to create multiple packages with various offers this way is better than just putting all services in one package.

If you have any more questions please feel to open another ticket.

    Kind Regards,

    Marko Davidovic [email protected]
