Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I went through the same procedure you did, Benjamin.
Did you check your SPAM folder? You can see that I received the cancelation email without issues, so it does work for me.
Let me know if the spam folder is blank, and if it is - please record your screen, and send it to me so that I can see how you're testing this. I doubt you're making some mistakes, but you can never know.
We have an email log where we can see if an email has been sent or not. So this is definitely no SPAM thing.
I initially gave you the role of administrator. As the client that is facing this issue is Amelia Manager, I changed your role to Amelia Manger now. Maybe the problem is userrole related.
Could you kindly have another look into this matter?
I tried it again, booked the appointment from the back-end first, then I canceled it from the back-end, and the email was sent:
Then I booked from the front-end, canceled it from the back-end, and again - the email was sent. There's no point in adding another screenshot, since it's the same email, and the same email address, but it all works for me.
Can you provide me with the login for the manager that experiences this issue? Remember to send a PRIVATE response.
Something came up to my mind: Does deleting an appointment or setting its status to cancelled both trigger the automatic cancellation email?
I saw that you changed the status of the booking you made this morning and the client always deletes them.
Is it possible that with a recent update this has changed (as the clients has always deleted bookings and emails had been sent out but since a while that doesn't work anymore).
Deleting an appointment actually triggers the "Rejected" status, and the "Appointment Rejected" email notification, which is not active on your site.
So, you may be right when you thought of this - it could lead us down the right path. Please enable the "Appointment Rejected" email, and do it again - it should be resolved.
Hi there
We just noted, that Amelia does not send cancellation emails to customer/employee when the booking is cancelled through the backend.
Both kind of emails are activated under notifications and the checkbox inform customer was alwaxs active.
Can you help solving this issue?
Cheers, Benjamin

Hi Aleksandar
This is very strange. I just tested it again.
The confirmation email was sent properly. But there was no cancellation email sent out.
Could you look again into this matter?
How did you proceed when you cancelled your appointment?
Cheers, Benjamin

Dear Aleksandar
That was it! After enabling the appointment rejected email notification the email had been sent out when deleting an appointment.
Thanks a lot for your patience and your awesome support.
Cheers, Benjamin
