    Dear Amelia Team,

    Following a change in my appointment availability as an employee, when I temporarily hid all my working hours after being fully booked, I tried to update my availability and reinstate some of my working hours, but this change is not being picked up in the front-end of the website.

    I have already checked that assigned services are correctly selected for employee, show service on site is active, location is correct (see attachment), and working hours are inclusive of the time when I try to book appointment in settings (see attachment),

    Despite all the above, the update in my working hours as an employee are not picked up by the front end of the website.

    Please note that this feature used to work well and its only after having hid all my working hours and then try to update my working hours that I experience problems.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Can you please remove the office work hours and set the work hours for the employee only, clear your website and browser cache and let us know if you still have the same issue.

    It is now working but only partly. I can see the service on the front end of my website but I cannot figure out how to add a second service later on that day. I can only click on the icon that looks like a pen, which allows me to edit existing slot but not create a new one.


    So for example, I want to add a different service for individual therapy at 5pm on Mondays. How can I do this while maintaining the couple therapy service offered at 7pm?

    On a more general note, I find Amelia plugin needs a fair bit of customisation to be fit for purpose for my website and I do not have the time or technical knowledge for this. is is quite disappointing as I was expecting to be more straightforward than this.  Do you liaise with any colleagues that can help me customise Amelia for my wordpress website? I live and work in the UK.

    You will be able to add another work period by clicking on the + sign again

    We used to offer customization services but, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.

    Thank you for the reply and the recommendations.

    Clicking the + sign allowed me to add extra slots and services. However, on the front of the website only one service per day is being picked up. Any additional slots entered on the same day offering a different type of service, they do not show up.

    Attachment 1 shows that on Mondays, 2 different couple therapy slots appears.

    However on the back on the website, I have included an Assessment & Matching service on Monday, which is not being picked.

    Assessment & Matching service on Tuesdays was entered first and the slot is being picked up on the front to the website but the couple therapy entered later does not show.

    Any idea why this is the case?

    Hi Venetia

    Can you please check if you have any buffer times added to any of the services and does the duration of the service (+buffer time) fit in the assigned schedule. For example if a service is 1 hour long and my employee works from 10 to 11am I will be able to book this service, but if I add 15min buffer time, my employee's work hours will have to be at least from 10 to 11:15am for someone to be able to book this service.

    Hello again,

    There is a standard 10-minute buffet time, but I dont think that this explains the problem.

    Unfortunately I am back at square one. I originally contacted you because after deleting my working hours, so new clients could not book appointments when I was full, then opening my working hours on the back end would not be picked up by the front end.

    The same thing is happening now.  I added new working hours as an employee and although the services for which appointments are created are picked up (the please select service part of the website is updated) no appointments are shown on the diary. You can also check website.

    I have not changed anything in the settings since we last spoke, have saved new working hours, cleared cashe, updated website... It's been two weeks that I have been going going back and forth and cannot really use the service. 

    Any ideas what is going on and how to fix it?

    Hi Venetia

    Can you please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

    We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties. 

    You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Hi Venetia

    As I mentioned before please make sure to add the buffer times as well when creating a work schedule since the service will not be able to fit on without it.

    So please make sure to add 10 more minutes to your employee's work schedule for each service and you will see everything as it should be.

    Also I noticed you are using an outdated version of Amelia so please make sure to update it to 4.3.1 to avoid any issues.
