I have set up Amelia on my client's website. He uses Sumup as a payment gateway for his services. Unfortunately this is not supported by Amelia so I had to set up Woocommerce payment. I set up and tested the booking process for the first service only (Acupunture 30 min). The problem is I received 2 duplicate emails to confirm my booking, one issued by Amelia, and another one by Woocommerce. This is really a big issue as the customers will get confused ! Is there a way to desactivate Amelia notifications ??? By the way Woocommerce offers a much nicer personalisation of the notification emails Amelia's solution is really too basic (you can't even insert a logo properly. Second question where do I change the status of the order (from pending to complete) once I have checked the payment and booking slot availability ? In Woocommerce or in Amelia, or in both ? Thank you for your help. Kind regards
Sorry for the late response. Our team is cut in half due to Covid-19 infections, so our response times are longer than usual. Thank you for your patience!
If you don't configure Notifications in Amelia Settings/Notifications, notifications won't be sent, but since you already configured them, the only way you can disable notifications would be to go into Amelia/Notifications and disable the notifications (clicking on the check-box next to the Notification name) you don't want to send. If you don't want Amelia to send any notifications, simply disable them all (for Customer and for the employee - you can switch between them at the top):
OK thank you for your reply. I managed to disable the unwanted notifications and simplify the process for the customer. You can close the ticket. Kind regards
