I found the solution! It just came out today. I had to delete the plugin and go back to my paid version of the plugin and reinstall it. When you redownload the paid version it's already updated. Follow the link below and it will give you the instructions you need to follow.
Sorry for the late response. Our team is cut in half due to Covid-19 infections, so our response times are longer than usual. Thank you for your patience!
The article Nicolas mentioned is not a fix by any means, it's just a simple article that helps people update the plugin to the latest version. Since we see a lot of our customers have issues with auto-updates, we created the article to reduce the number of tickets that are opened for an issue that can be easily resolved. So, you're completely right - there's no need to reinstall the plugin.
Why are you adding the shortcode through the Classic block in Gutenberg when Amelia has Gutenberg blocks (see the article below). Moreover, why are you editing it as HTML? I have no issues adding this shortcode through the Classic block, so I can't say what's going on on your end.
Which version of WordPress, and which version of Amelia do you have? Can you try using Amelia's Blocks or use the visual mode in the Classic Editor?
I can log into your website if you can send me the wp-admin (administrator) credentials (in a PRIVATE response) if you're not able to resolve this.
It seems that you don't have our Gutenberg blocks on the site:
I used the classic editor on this page, and added it without issues:
So maybe you could use this before we get to the bottom of this. I'm sure it's coming from one of these two plugins, though, but I can't say for sure:
Would you be able to provide us with a staging site, along with WP-admin (Administrator) user, FTP, and the database, so our developers can debug the plugin, and see what's going on?
If you're not able to provide us with a staging site, can you clone your website?
If yes - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
The Duplicator plugin can export only up to 500MB of data, so if your site is bigger than that, please use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.
When I select to edit a page I'm now seeing the message block below:
I no longer have the option to add an Amelia Event Block.
I'm using the same templates I've used since starting the site: "Professional Education Consultancy" Version: 0.9, By Bizberg Themes.
Thanks

This doesn't make sense that I would have to uninstall and install. Is the fix not deployed as a hotfix or a minor update?
Any response on this from the official channel?
