wpDataTables can not read my google sheet even though it is published to the web and I am using the address in the browser bar as per the tutorial. (The browser link is also set to anyone with the link can view)

    Hi Leo,

    Thank you for your purchase.

Sorry for the late response, we have some agents that have contracted Covid-19, so our team is cut in half.

We check you Google sheet link and we try both options Creating from exiting data source and importing like you try and we do not have any issues.(attachments)

Do you still have issues with this?

If answer is yes then please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

    Isidora Markovic

Was this problem ever solved? I'm trying to fix a problem by first seeing if anyone else has had it, so this answer could be relevant to others.

    Hi Kenner82

I'm afraid we never heard back from Leo so we will assume he managed to resolve the issue. If you are facing similar issues please double check that the sheet is published and that there is no special formatting applied to the sheet (no colored cells, no merged cells, special alignment, etc)

When you have questions or issues which are not related to the title of the active ticket, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily. Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.

    Thank you for understanding.

The issue I'm facing is exactly the same as Leo described (and others in a few other threads, but no solution was ever shared). I'd love to make my own ticket! I've tried! However, the "purchase code" field is mandatory, and I bought wpDataTables through Envato and therefore don't have a purchase code. But I can't email anyone to ask for help with THAT issue, because I need the purchase code to do so. So my only hope is to find the answer in a similar support ticket, and none of them (either on Envato or on TMS) have had solutions listed publicly. I'm sure you can see why I was frustrated. But I will say that manually updating the plugin with the download from Envato solved the issue.

    Hi Kenner82

Even if you purchased with Envato you actually still have a purchase code, it is an Envato purchase code but it works for submitting a ticket. You can even open a pre-purchase ticket when you are in need of help and we will be happy to help you even without the purchase codesmile.png

If I understand correctly you managed to solve the issue and everything is in order? If so we are glad to hear that, but please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.

    Have a wonderful day!
