We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello,

I have a problem synchronizing my personal google calendar with Amelia's on my site.

I have private events on my google calendar that are not visible on my website. As a result, my client risks booking services on a time slot that is not really free.
I thought Amelia was able to detect the time slot on my own personal calendar and turn them off on my website. Is not it true ?

I need help because this feature is the reason why I decided to buy this plugin to avoid checking the requests of these 2 calendars.

    Thank you for your help.

    Regards,

    Precillia

    Hello Precillia,

    Thank you for your purchase.

Could you please tell me have you followed our instructions for the Google sync in Amelia and connected Employees to their Google calendars successfully? After you finish with the sync, on the Employees page when you open/edit an employee you need to connect it to the Google calendar.

When you connect the employees to their Google calendars, the booked appointments from Amelia will be created in their Google calendars as well and the time slots of the Busy events in Google will be blocked for booking in Amelia (if the option Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google Calendar Settings is enabled).

If you have already connected the employee to their Google calendar please check if you enabled the option Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots  in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google Calendar Settings. Also, if you have some bigger number of Busy events in Google please increase the number for the option Maximum Number Of Events Returned:  , which you will find in Google Calendar Settings as well.

Let me know if this helped!
