I don't think this is possible but thought I'd check here before looking at an alternative plugin.
I'm using woocommerce subscriptions to handle the membership side. And I had planned on using packages to allow members to choose x number of events for free. But since discovered that packages can only be built from services. I've voted on the feature suggestion, but reading the other tickets it looks like this is far far away.
Coupons wouldn't work as they'd need to be tied to a membership and we can't police the potential leaking of the coupon for 100s of sign ups for the event.
My second idea was to use woocommerce as the checkout for the event and then add the 100% discount to the woo basket for logged in members. But I believe the Amelia product can't be affected by any woocommerce related discounts - am I correct?
Is there any other work around other than having multiple employees for the events set up as services. This doesn't really work as the client wants the date list view that I showed at the start of the project.
I need to have one employee and an event that recurs once a month. Event 2 that happens once a month and event 3 that happens once a month. All have different ticket prices and capacity.
This will wok for you, but you will need to use woo for ALL transactions. Woo will modify the amount at checkout. but it will display full price during the amelia steps
You will need to create a product in woo, then set your membership discounts for it. Once you've done that, link the product in the payment options of the event.
And I went on with a combination of a Zoom plugin as well as a membership plugin. It's a nice combo with Amelia, but I have to say I'm a bit jealous because Eventon looks really nice!
Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the late response, but also explain why it took us so long to respond. Other than having our team cut in half due to Covid-19 infections, you guys kept responding to this ticket and bumping it down in our queue.
This ticketing platform shows the oldest tickets first, so with each reply, the ticket was moved below older tickets that had no customer correspondence. It just came up in my queue, and that's why it took me so long to reach it.
algunning - unfortunately, what you wanted to do with Amelia is not possible, and Clément's response about the custom price in WooCommerce would be doable, but it still wouldn't provide the functionalities you're looking for.
Our developers are working on improving the WooCommerce integration, along with improving the Events feature, so hopefully, something like this will be included in the future.

Any way I can do with amelia ?
Hi. I'm also interested to know the answer!
hi guys, any ideas. I've got to complete this project this week, and would prefer to use Amelia rather than eventon

I was also hoping to have packages for events. I hope I can do that!!
I've gone down the Eventon route with dynamic pricing for members.
And I went on with a combination of a Zoom plugin as well as a membership plugin. It's a nice combo with Amelia, but I have to say I'm a bit jealous because Eventon looks really nice!
Eventon's zoom integration also has option for passworded zoom links :)
I know I've checked it after you mentioned it and now I'm sad, haha
